Accept Award at Ceremony April 20 in Washington
For the second consecutive year, IREM was awarded a 2018 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Award for outstanding efforts in the Energy Efficiency Program Delivery category. The award was presented during a ceremony April 20 in Washington that drew more than 500 people representing businesses and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency achievements.
The ENERGY STAR® Awards are held annually by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Energy (DOE).
The IREM award was accepted by Angela Aeschliman, CPM®, IREM Chicago 2017 President and 2018 IREM Sustainability Advisory Board Chair, and IREM Sustainability Program Manager Todd Feist. Charles Dilks, Executive Vice President Government Solutions, Colliers International, also shared the excitement of the evening.
“IREM supports sustainable, efficient management and operations as a way to enhance the environmental and financial performance of the assets we manage,” Aeschliman noted.
IREM Chicago is a strong supporter of promoting energy efficiency, and members demonstrate their commitment to effective management practices by participation in the IREM Certified Sustainable Property program.
