A glorious summer day filled with warm breezes, sunshine and billowy clouds was the setting for the 33rd Annual IREM Chicago Golf Outing and Silent Auction August 5 at the Kemper Lakes Golf Club.

IREM Chicago members, Industry Partners and guests were among the 144 golfers who participated this year. After a shotgun start, foursomes took on the challenging course located northwest of Chicago.

Following rounds golf, participants enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner, beverages and camaraderie in the Kemper Lakes clubhouse.

Those on hand were able to bid on a wide range of items – from autographed sports memorabilia and electronics to tickets and artwork – as part of the Silent Auction held to benefit IREM Chicago’s official charity for 2019. This year, more than $7,700 was raised for LYDIA Home, a Chicago non-profit organization that helps children in foster care.

The popular annual summer event was managed by the Chapter Annual Golf Outing Committee and included the Vendor Showcase, which allowed attendees an opportunity to meet with Industry Partner representatives in a relaxed setting.

Many thanks to the more than 30 IREM Chicago Industry Partners who sponsored the 2019 Golf Outing.

The 2019 IREM Chicago Executive Council – President Kris Haskins, CPM®, President-Elect Angela Aeschliman, CPM®, Secretary Steve Schimmel, CPM®, and Secretary Colleen Needham, CPM® -- participated in the event. And, past presidents Nick Helmer, CPM® and June McCrory, CPM® also were on hand.

The world-class Kemper Lakes Golf Club in northwest suburban Kildeer again provided a beautiful and tranquil setting for a round of golf, as well as opportunities to cultivate new business connections.
