Morning Rain Does Not Damper 32nd Annual IREM Chicago Golf Outing and Silent Auction August 6
IREM 32nd Annual Golf Outing & Silent Auction
Rain showers on the morning of August 6, the day of the 32nd Annual IREM Chicago Golf Outing and Silent Auction, subsided by the 9:30 a.m. shotgun start, ushering in another successful day-long event at the Kemper Lakes Golf Club.
A total of 140 golfers participated in this always-popular summer outing, with attendance from chapter members, Industry Partners and guests from the metropolitan Chicago commercial property management industry.
This year’s Silent Auction raised over $6,000 for LYDIA Home, the chapter’s official charity for 2018. More than 75 prizes, ranging from gift baskets and overnight hotel stays to sporting event tickets and an illustration of Chicago Cubs star Anthony Rizzo, were part of the Silent Auction prizes.
Managed by the Chapter Annual Golf Outing Committee, the event also featured a delicious lunch, buffet supper and the Vendor Showcase, which allows attendees an opportunity to meet with Industry Partner representatives in a relaxed setting.
Many thanks to the 35 IREM Chicago Industry Partners who sponsored the 2018 Golf Outing.
The world-class Kemper Lakes Golf Club in northwest suburban Kildeer again provided a beautiful and tranquil setting for a round of golf, as well as opportunities to cultivate new business connections.
While out on the links, golfers competed for bragging rights. Here are winners in various categories:
